Here’s a fun craft to do with the kiddos for Thanksgiving. Make your own placemats! I did this a few years ago for our Thanksgiving dinner and we still use them. I just used some scrapbook paper, something that’s thicker like card stock.  Then let your kids decorate it! We each put our hand print on ours and it’s so cute to see my daughter put hers up to it and see how much she’s grown. Just make sure that you keep it flat. If you used raised stickers or embellishments then it might not laminate well.

Once you have it decorated then you can take it to an office supply store to get laminated. They were able to do it while I waited in the store and it didn’t cost that much at all.

My kids love their very own placemats! Hope yours do to!
