I usually frown when we get something that is used for cleaning to review. This time was no different but I pushed on and assembled (which wasn't much) the Hoover Platinum Collection Cordless Stick Vac. From the time I opened the box, to the time I vacuumed my son's room, I was pleasantly suprised. This vacuum is super lite and still has great cleaning ability. I was expecting a vacuum that wouldn't pick up anything or you had to run over a piece of trash 20 times for it to pick it up. This wasn't the case at all. It was powerful and very easy to manuever. I loved the cordless feature and the battery lasted for a long time. It also has a feature that allows you to turn the brushroll off and on with one finger. So you can go from carpet to hardwood floors or tile without having to drag something else out. Another great thing about the Hoover Platinum Collection Cordless Stick Vac is it's size. It small enough to fit in any closet and not take up half the floor. Don't tell my wife but I don't mind vacumming with this! I'm not sure if it has the same power as a vacuum with a cord but it's great for the times when you don't have time drag the big vacuum out.

I have had the same sweeper for the past 12 years. I would have to say that I love how easy it is to push and pull it throughout the house. I despise having to constantly move around the cord. What a pain! The one thing I wish it would do is to sweep the house by itself. No such luck! The Hoover cordless stick vac would be perfect for me!

this would be amazing to put in my 5th wheel trailer! I have a preschool age child and dogs, our camping trips can get messy. I would love to be able to clean up the beach sand or leaves on a camping trip! once we had a puffed rice cereal spill (the entire box) and we didn’t have the dogs to help clean it up. The broom got alot, but not all. If we had had this, it would have been a breeze!

My vacuum just doesn’t work on the tile floors. It kicks up the dirt (which in turn gets launched at my shins). OUCH!
