USPS Holiday Schedule for 2012

It is a New Year and it is time to start thinking ahead.  Since I love to send and receive mail it is important that I keep up to date on the days that the United States Postal Service will be closed so I can plan accordingly.

Here is the schedule of 2012 USPS Holidays:

  • Monday, January 2, 2012 (New Year’s Day – observed)
  • Monday, January 16, 2012 (Martin Luther King Day)
  • Monday, February 20, 2012 (President’s Day)
  • Monday, May 28, 2012 (Memorial Day)
  • Wednesday, July 4, 2012 (Independence Day)
  • Monday, September 3, 2012 (Labor Day)
  • Monday, October 8, 2012 (Columbus Day)
  • Monday, November 12, 2012 (Veteran’s Day – observed)
  • Thursday, November 22, 2012 (Thanksgiving Day)
