Mason jar crafts are really popular right now. I love reusing items to make something new and useful! In this post I’m going to show you how I made an old jar into a trendy soap dispenser. It’s very easy and inexpensive!

Step 1. Gather supplies. You’ll need a jar, ring, lid, glue (I recommend E600), drill, and soap dispenser (I bought one at the dollar store but you can reuse on that you have at home).
Step 2. You’ll need to put a hole in the lid. I used a 1/2 inch paddle bit. The hole only needs to be big enough for the straw to fit through.
Step 3. Glue it! I put glue all around the bottom of the soap dispenser, the part that will be against the lid. I also put some along the top of the straw. Hold it together for a few minutes, but it will take a whole 24 hours for it to completely set. You may need to trim the bottom of the straw so it will fit in the jar.
Step 4. Decorate the jar, or just leave it plain! I cut out some vinyl letters using my Cricut machine. A ribbon or bow on top would look nice too. When it’s all dry put it together and add soap!
This would make a great little gift!
