I know it is swimsuit season now and many people have put on their bathing suit, looked in the mirror and decided it is time to do something about their weight. I wanted to take a minute to remind everyone that the YMCA has Scholarships. When you go get an Application to join be sure to ask for a Scholarship Application. The Scholarship will be based on your income and family size. I have had a Scholarship for about three (3) years now and we love it!
I also love the fact that the YMCA is family oriented and they do not nickel and dime you. The child care while you are working out does not cost any extra. If you qualify for a scholarship it also translates to sports for the children, classes and camp.
I believe in the YMCA’s mission and I love the fact that they honestly practice the values that they say they do. When CQ Relief needed a place to hold the Shower for Tornado victims I called my YMCA Director and asked if we could use the YMCA and was told yes. They are being extremely helpful to us!

Oh! I am going to check into this.
We applied yesterday. They said we should know if we get it in a couple of weeks. The Director was out for the holiday weekend.
Glad to see you applied. It is an excellent deal. We like to go to the open swim and I do the water aerobics at mine. I am thinking about trying out the Zumba class also.
