Really hate to take up anymore room on your prayer list but.

my ex mother in law just told my ex today that she has brain and lung cancer, honestly i'm not sure how much more i can handle, i always described her as a saint, she has never been one of THOSE mother in laws, to me she was my second mom from the moment i met her and she hugged me and took me under her wing back in 1988 when i first came over..She was always one i could count on, go to for advice, we were Close..oh yes we were, so much that when my ex and i split up he reminded me that she was HIS mom. We had a few rocky months when my ex and i were dealing with our seperation, but we ended up being as close as we were again afterwards. She's the world to me, please pray for her, i don't have a lot of info yet, if it's treatable or not..

Here is what you need to do: Take a deep breathe and SCREAM! Trust me you'll feel better as it will relieve some of the tension.

She is in our prayers and remember your welcome to take up as much room as you want on our prayer list, but we are praying that soon you will be taking up less room!

Oh i haven't even mentioned my daughters car breaking down, found out today it's a blown motor. Of course that's Ashers mom, the one that really doesn't need to be without a car right now...yeah talk about getting hit from every direction

She has a doc appointment tomorrow afternoon, my ex said he will let me know as soon as possible what they said.

Stage 4 lungcancer and a tumor 3-4cm big on each side of the brain..they are doing a biopsy wednesday on the lung, and they are talking radiation and chemo. She didn't want to fight this at first, her pastor came to see her and told her that God put people in the world who's calling is to help people survive cancer and it's her obligation to give them a chance to cure her...completely changed her mind around and now she's willing to fight. So happy to hear that, i might go see her this weekend with my girls and g'son.

Asher had an MRI done last week and so far it shows no signs of the tumor returning..YAY! BUT..he'll still have to do radiation and we found out yesterday that the ProCure center in OKC can't guarantee that they will be able to do it in january, so the doctor wants him to go to M.D. Anderson in Houston.
YAY..finally getting started...BUT..
M.D. Anderson called my daughter yesterday and said they don't take OK medicaid..
then they called back again and said they will see if soonercare will cover out of state treatment..
so again..one step forward and 2 steps back. No idea right now when/if they are going.
6 weeks..long time.
Physical therapist showed up today for their first appointment...YAY..BUT
he has to get evaluated to see if he qualifies..
hey..if we keep up this pace he might be 30 by the time he gets radiation and physical therapy..

Britta, hang in there. I've been through my own mess with my kid this year, and believe me, I know how it wears on you. Stay strong and keep fighting for your daughter and precious Asher. I agree with Karen....SCREAM every once in a while. Doesn't solve any problems, but does relieve some tension. LOL! Praying for you!

Just needed to share my sad news today...
My ex MIL lost her fight with braincancer this morning, please say a little prayer for her. She'll be missed by so many, and let it be a reminder to us how fast life can change. 2 months and 1 week since diagnosis. Unbelievable. Rest in peace Carol.

Thank you, yes i've had my fill of bad happenings, way too many lately and too many in such a short time. My daughter and Asher are flying in tomorrow so they can attend the funeral, flying back out wednesday. BTW never ask for a bereavement flight from NWA..regular flight 496...bereavement flight 783..told them to shove it. Called AA and got a compassion flight for $400. We are just heartbroken.

Really hate to take up anymore room on your prayer list but.
