Please remember my daughter in your prayers. She became a victim in the early morning of last Sunday. She didn't lose her life, but her life has forever been changed by one person's uncontrolled greed and lust for power. She's facing a very steep, uphill battle that will last, I'm afraid, for many years. She's so strong, and I'm so proud of her, but there's no way she'll get through this without support from family and friends, and LOTS of prayer. I feel like I'm being a drama queen, asking for prayer, but not giving a reason, but it just cannot be discussed. I know that the members of this site believe in the power of prayer as much as I, and over the years of being a CQ member, have literally seen miracles occur through the prayers of this site.

As her mother, I have no idea of how to best help her through this, but we're consulting professionals, and trusting in God. As has been said on here before, God makes all things work for the good of those that love Him, and I am a FIRM believer in that. I know that in the end, things will be ok, but in the interim, when you see your child hurting and struggling, you need to be reminded of that so often. If you think of us, would you just say a small prayer for peace, protection, wisdom, strength and guidance? Every small, tiny prayer will be immediately felt, and eternally appreciated.

God, please bless my CQ family. They are some of the best people on the face of the earth.

Just got probably the best news I could have gotten in this situation. It's not over, but the struggle has just become much easier. Thanks to the prayers of those who posted, and those who just prayed for us. God is so amazing! And so is my CQ family! I pray God will bless each one of you, because I could never thank you enough. Although it shouldn't, it still amazes me what happens when we pray for each other. I am humbled and so, SO grateful for you!
