So this isn't something that a lot of people would typically "stockpile" on, but I hit the jackpot this weekend at JCPenney. They have recently sent out a $10 off a $10 purchase coupon in the mail. So my husband and I decided to go check it out to see if we could find something. JCPenney right now has things on clearance up to 75% off!! We found khaki work pants that my husband wears everyday on sale for $9.97 a piece. These pants are usually $40 a piece and were on clearance because "they are last years style" which looks just like this years style. So we found two pairs, at $9.97 a piece with the $10 off coupon, making the grand total around $11 for two pairs of pants. That's not all though.

My mom gave us her coupon that she got in the mail, so the next day we went to check out another JCPenney. There we found 3 pairs of the pants on a sale rack for $3.97 a piece! The total was $12.06 for three pairs of pants, with the $10 off coupon we paid only $2.06 for three pairs of pants that are usually $40 a piece!!!

So we got my husband 5 pairs of pants for work at a total around $13.00. We saved $187.00!!! I wish we could go and check out all the other stores, but having a new baby and all makes it kind of hard to do. So I would encourage everyone to check out JCPenney. Even if you don't have the coupon, I saw clothes on sale for as low as $2.00. You can stock up for next year!

Happy Shopping!
Jennifer

Great job! JCP is known for their great clearances, as a matter of fact, most of my clothes have come from their clearance racks combined with those $10 off $10 coupons. I always do back to school shopping there as well and I ALWAYS save at least 1 1/2 times what I spend. My daughter even gets excited to read the receipt and tells the cashier our savings!

Silly question, where did you find the coupons? I signed up to be notified of their sales, etc. via their web site...will that do it? Thank you for posting!

As far as I can tell, the $10/$10 coupons are only sent out to their credit card holders, possibly gold card and up.
