Please pray for my family

My precious Father-in-law that I loved dearly passed this morning and is in the most wonderful place. This is a very hard time for us so please adds us to your list of prayers...By the way he took a flight out this morning with some of the most beautiful angels that there are.

Karen, I just wanted you to know that I will be praying for You, Carl, and your entire family during this time! I know there are no words that can be shared that can help ease the heartache each of you are dealing with in the loss of one of God's faithful servants. May each of you find peace in knowing that as he arrived in Heaven, he heard those special words........Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant...Well Done!! May each of you also know and find comfort in the fact, that as he helped lead the lost to Christ, that he himself KNEW what a loving, caring, gracious Savior he was serving....and through that acceptance he was rewarded today as he arrived in Heaven.

I was struck in awe of how you described his passing today and his "flight" out this morning. Someday I want to share about the "life changing" night my Mom left this earth for her Heavenly reward, but for now....let me just share....just moments after her last breathe......it hit me that she was "flying with Angels"!!! My Mom had not been able to walk for sometime prior to her death, we rejoiced that she would regain all the things that had been taken from her through the disease that had attacked her earthly body. After just a couple of moments had passed, I got up to go out and call the sweet little Hospice Nurse that our family was blessed to have. When she came on the other end of the phone (she knew why I was calling in the wee hours that morning), but my words to her were never more true.......Ms. Lucy, in a little while my Mom is going to be walking again on streets of pure Gold.....but right this moment she is flying with Angels!! How AWESOME is that!! How Gracious our Father is...that before he even allowed her feet to walk again...He allowed her to "FLY"!! Indeed your Father-in-law has done what no human can do....FLY with Angels, without the aid of some man made contraption!!

Know that you will remain in my prayers in the coming days.

Thanks Chris for your thoughtful words...Emmitt was a precious man of God and I know that he is walking without a walker and not having to deal with pain..I am so grateful that I was blessed with this time with him and will cherish them forever.

Hey Karen I have been so out of it since I started working. I am so sorry!! I know that he is in a better place. I love how you take joy in his passing you make it a happy occassion because he is with God. My mom always tells me you better give me a happy funeral I want everyone jumping for joy. I tell her I will do my best I am her only child.

I am sorry to say this is the first time I have ever noticed The Prayer Room. And let me say how awesome this is! The power of prayer is a wonderful thing. As for the loss of your father in law, I am so sorry. There are no words that can ease your pain. But you and your family are in my prayers I am just sorry that I'm a little late. I am a huge prayer warrior and will be checking this more often. God bless you and your family.
