We just got new neighbors and now I'm starting to see roaches and I dont know how to get rid of them, any advice would help. Thanks

I don't know of any way besides chemicals.
Hopefully your neighbors just brought them in their boxes and they want to get rid of them too. I do know that if you are exterminating and they are not, the critters will keep going back and forth and you'll never get rid of them. Maybe you could casually and tactfully mention the problem and propose that you fight the battle together.

Try powdered Borax. Sprinkle it under your sink and in the back of your cabinets. The bad news is that if you live in an apartment as long as your neighbors have them you will too.

Thank you I will try Borax. You are the 2nd person to say that it works. Do you know if it is bad for my dogs? Do I need to keep it away from them? I would like to try to talk to my neighbors about takeing care of it together but they dont speak english and I dont speak spanish so Im on my own.

My advice is to call a professional. A friend of mine had huge problem, due to her neighbors, and finally called a professional. There is a science to how to best get rid of them. I have to warn you that all companies don't do a great job. The company she used is Infinite Pest Solutions. Her roach problem is under control. Good luck!

OK I moved into a house once that had roches so bad if you turned on the light in the kitchen at night you could not see the counter.... talk about gross, I spent hundreds of dollers on the profesionals and it did no good. I tried everything and I mean everything, then one day I was at walmart and found this gel from combat it costs about 10 bucks. OMG within days it was better and within 2 weeks I never saw one again. Now everytime I move into a house it goes with me and I have never had a problem again. it really is a life saver!!! I was just mad that I spent all this money and time living with them and the answer was on a walmart shelf,lol!!! hope this helps I mean it it really works I would do a commerical for them if i could...

Do you know the name of the gel so I can try it? Do you know if it is bad for dogs?

I think is just combat roach gel and yes it is fine for children and animals. you are just going to put a dot of this gel inyour cabinets, behind fridge, in bathroom ect the kids and animals wont know it is there. any other ?s feel free to ask i am an expert at this stuff like i said i swar by it....
