As most of you all know my son BJ is in the Army and has been in S. Korea for the last year...well he is as of Friday July 25 he will be offically out of the Army for good. Please pray that he will make it home safely. He will be in the air for 30 hours and it scares me to death. It"s been a long 7 years and I will be glad when he gets on Oklahoma soil for good...

Karen, I replied in the other post, but wanted to make sure you knew I was praying not only for safe travels for BJ, but I also continue to pray for your health. Know that even though I haven't posted in a long, long time, that I have continued to pray for you both. You be sure and tell BJ that I also will be proud when he is back on American soil safely, but I also appreciate his service to our country. I stand in awe of our military men and women, as well as their families and the sacraficies they all make, to make this world a better and safer place. They all too often go without hearing how much they are appreciated and I pray that BJ knows that there are many that appreciate the sacraficies he has made and the struggles he has endured for "all" of us!!!

Hey Karen,

I didn't know for sure if BJ was going to be in the air today or just official through with his service?.......but I wanted you to know that YOU and he have both been in my thoughts the last several days and especially today. Again, Thank HIM for me and know that I continue to pray the he is back in YOUR arms here in America which he served for all those years, safely AND soon!!

Chris yes he was in the air today...and last night. He got into Tulsa around 7pm. He said that he was really tired and didn't want to talk but I found out awhile ago that they lost his luggage after he paid their high price to bring his stuff home. Hopefully they will find it and he will have underwear to wear come tomorrow morning. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and I have told him and he said to tell you thanks.

That is AWESOME and truly an answer to prayer. I know you are relieved to have him home and safely tucked in for some much needed rest. I pray that he is able to just rest and relax. I understand about lost luggage it happened to Sugar Momma just a week ago. She flew from here in Montgomery to Denver. She got there and had a presentation to make the next morning at the conference she flew in for. Of course........her luggage ended up in Salt Lake City.......with all her clothing and everything she needed for the conference!! They told her that they would get it to the hotel by morning. When she got up, she called downstairs to be told that yes it had arrived and they had it. She asked that they bring it up to her room and when they didn't come up, about 30 min. later she called again (since she only had the clothes she had worn on the flight) and they told her that they had signed for the wrong bag, it wasn't hers and they were trying to locate it through the airline. Anyway, they finally found it, got it to her with just enough time and she was able to make her presentation in clean clothes and with all her data!! God is Good!! I know they will find BJ's and get it to him!! If it's not there come morning time, I am guessing his MOM would probably be willing to do some laundry while he gets some extra rest?? Again Praise God and we are glad he is back home safe, with our gratitude for his service to our country!!!!
