Here you can nominate a business to recieve an award. Once a business has been nominted we would like to here from several members who may have visited that store.

Business will be judged on:

1.Customer Service
2.Coupon Friendly(if it is a store that excepts coupons, otherwise dont coun't this one)
3.Clean
4.Knowledge of store policys
5.Community Helper(goes out of their way to help the community somehow)

Lets define customer service.
Do they go out of their way to locate a product for you that they are out of ?
Will They do a stock transfer and go get the product so that you do not have to?
Are they really nice or just butt suckers?
Do they really care about you?
of so what have they do to make you feel important?
any more suggestions to this ?

I would like to nominate the CVS in Norman on Flood and Main. The manager (I don't know his name...he's a younger guy) is so helpful! My first trip in there to try ECB deals was a little overwhelming. I wasn't sure how everything worked, so I asked the manager. He grabbed a flyer and walked around the store with me showing me how to get the best deals and even asked me if I had other coupons to pair with the deals. He also said, "There are some women who come in here with these big books of coupons and get some really impressive deals"...I'm sure he was talking about some of you VERY coupon friendly. The manager also recognized me the next time I came in to do ECB deals (he rang me up) and said, "see, I knew you'd get the hang of this!". LOVE LOVE LOVE this store!!

Brandi Find out his name!!!!! Anyone one else from this area that can verify? We could vote on this one for Feb!

I just thought of something. When we do send out the award we need to make sure that we send a copy of it on to the Corporate office of whatever store it is, so that way the company can internally acknowledge it (maybe in the form of bonuses ect) or at the very least let corporate know what a good job their employees are doing and have a copy put in the peoples permanent record!!

Vincent sounds right...I will go in and check though just to make sure (in case they have more than one store manager).

I can second this! Once I accidentally handed him one CVS card and ECBs for another card. He told me that their store didn't have a problem with it, but to be careful, because other stores probably will.

I also bought over $100 in items on Dec 3rd for the Friends and Family deal, only to return several because they weren't included in the deal. (it was supposed to be an extra 30% off, and some items were "on sale" even though the register receipt didn't show they were on sale, and no signs were visible) Anyway, I had paid with $80 in ECB's and wanted a refund on the items that I thought were going to be 30% off but weren't. The cashier said I was getting into my ECB's and therefore, couldn't get a refund. Another cashier looked up and saw what was happening, and said "Oh, give her cash back for it. It's cool. She's in here all the time. We'll get the money back, don't worry!"

They are very sweet in this store! They deserve an award!

Vincent Parker is his name...He really is fantastic! That whole store is so friendly and helpful! Let me know when we vote for February so I can cast my vote

I was in this store late last week and Vincent told me I was "very good at what I do"! We then had a little conversation about couponing, and he's told all of his employees to not hassle people who use coupons. He said some people want to act like it's coming from their pocket, and that's silly. The manufacturers pay them to take coupons, so why not? He said some managers have complained that there are bogus coupons out, and that's why they don't like to take them, but he said he's never been more than $16.00 off on coupons he sends in, and that can be attributed to some being dropped on the floor, etc. I told him about our site, and that we're giving awards for the most customer friendly stores in the metro and that he'd been nominated. He was very appreciative. Very good store!! I love it!
