ants in the kitchen... Boric acid or chili
and/or cayenne pepper powder across their path
will soon deter them; some folks swear that an
ant won't cross a chalk line, so you might try that.
The chili & cayenne pepper worked wonders for me,
I only had to put it down a couple of
times, they got the message and haven't been back
