This method is not practiced on this website and postings of this kind will not be allowed.

This means you buy stuff with coupons and then try to return the product for full price. This hurts the store which eventually hurts couponers when they crack down. This does not mean we frown on genuine returns because you bought the wrong thing, or something is wrong or whatever. Im talking about people who do this for a living. Who buy stuff with coupons and then turn around and return for profit the next day. An ongoing occurance!!!!!!!!!

This includes buying stuff fo the extracare bucks at cvs and then getting your bucks and returning the item!!!

AMEN! Esp those people buying the nova Max's and returning them. I never got any! I think the CVS near me refused to put any more out until after the coupon expires!

Thank you for striving to keep this site ethical and honest! It is refreshing to know some people still have a conscience!!

I seriously CAN'T believe that people actually do that! I am just sooo exstatic when I get a good deal! THAT right there saves us tons of money! Wow, I guess we should really pray for those people that do this!

I will not go into all the details about how I found this out but at my local walgreens there are a mother daughter team that goes in, buys products with coupons and register rewards then returns them for full sale price... keeping the extra money and the RRs. Lets just say that until these employees get to know a new couponer (like I was recently) they keep an eagle eye on them... Lets just say I was followed ALL around the store, by the assist. manager... he followed me to the register and watched as every item was rung up and then every coupon... and saw how little I had to pay.. it really made me uncomfortable but I knew I was doing nothing wrong....

I later learned (while talking to one of my fav cashiers there) the reason ... she just said not to take it personally and told me about the mother daughter team. Now he doesn't follow me around at all!

So.... in reality it makes it harder for those of us who are using them correctly!!!

I have a daughter that works at walgreens and yes, they know who uses coupons correctly and who scams the company. the managers know but they really never had a system in place where they can prevent the returning of ESR items etc. I'm hoping when the easy saver catalog program ends this month that the new system will be designed better so this won't happen anymore.
Seriously...i have gotten so many items for free or almost free, i wouldn't dare try to pull a stunt like that and still feel comfortable walking into a store. Everyone at the walgreens my daughter works at knows that the deals i get, i get honestly. They love to see how i do it and some will watch what i get so they know how they have to do it to get it as cheap as i do. A few dollars aren't worth compromising my reputation with that store.
I don't know how many times my daughter and i would be out and about and she would say: " see that lady there? she always brings back stuff every month, items she got for free, then gets a refund on top of it"

When I worked at Wal-Mart in Stillwater there was a couple that would do this. They would come & return 1 or 2 items at a time & most of the time it would be the items that have high dollar coupons (razors, air fresheners etc.) We caught on to them & when they would return something we would look at the receipt & yep there would be a coupon at the bottom (no way to tell what item the coupon was used on). They would come in quite often & didn't look like the scamming 'type'. They were older 40's or lower 50's. We talked to Loss Prevention & there was nothing they could do.
Some people.

That really sucks Amy. Is there a way to have the receipt show what the coupon was used for?
