HOME REMEDIES FOR FLEAS:

sPRINKLE SALT OR EPSON SALT ON CARPETS

WASH ANIMALS WITH DAWN DISH SOAP. ITS SAFE AND KILLS THE FLEAS

TO HELP REPEL FLEAS OFF CATS AND DOGS

This is not a complete cure, but it helps to reduce fleas. Add as much apple cider vinegar to pets water as you can without them noticing the taste.
The fleas don't like it.

I know the salt works. I poured plain table salt on my carpets, let it set overnight, vaccumed, and no more fleas!

Skin so soft by Avon is the best for fleas and TICKS!! unlike dawn it does NOT dry your dogs skin out and the effects last for about a week You can also buy the skin so soft bath oil it all has to be the original stuff anyway get the oil pour a little bit in your hands then rub it onto the dog a little goes a long way and ya do not need an oily dog. I have a friend who shows her dogs and this is all the very used. Her vet told them about it.
J Matt :D

P.S. If ya have any left over lice spray that ya have to use on your furniture when the kids bring them little buggers home well that spray works great to kill fleas and their eggs on your furniture and bedding.

I use to be a dog groomer and will let you in on my secret! Please use this route if the other home remedies above do not work for you. I found that the only way to rid your house of fleas is to put a topical flea treatment on your dog (1 treatment is only around $10 and good for 30 days). It has to be a good one from the vet, or a reputable pet store that sells Frontline or Advantage. The grocery store's topical treatments DO NOT WORK. You do not have to bathe your dog in chemicals or spray your home with poison either! The fleas will no longer have a host which is your dog, and will then die off in the house within 48hrs, or it could take 3 weeks for a bad infestation. If you see any fleas after 30 days, do another treatment on your dogs back and this will wipe them out 100% guaranteed!

you can also put garlic powder or garlic salt in their food. the fleas dont like the garlic.
also for weepy eyes you can put a penny in the pets drinking bowl. I have a blond yorkie and she had really weepy eyes so i put in the penny and it helps. (my mom has several yorkies so she put in several pennies) it works!!
