Ok ive been looking at a lot of forums for couponing and discounts and ive seen a few instances like when people list what they will or have gotten from a store and list their coupon usage. Anyway, my coupon question is say I get two items and I have a coupon for $x off one and then a coupon for $x off of two. can you use both?

Example
buy two bottles pantene for $x
$1 off one bottle
$1 off two bottles

can I use both coupons? I always figured since it says off two I could use that one since Im getting two but that I couldnt use the other or vice versa.

Nope. If you have two coupons that say $1/1 and $2/2 then you must buy 3 to use both coupons.

Now the exception to using multiple coupons is if you have a Buy 1 Get One Free coupon some stores will let you use another coupon. for example a Buy 1 Get 1 and $1/1. Since you are paying for one. Not all stores will do this though.
