I am new to this site and do not have much experience with couponing. I am trying to get started and save alot of money. I decided that I was going to go through my house and look at the productes that I use and call the company to ask for coupons. The products have 1-800 numbers on the package, bottle, box etc.. and I just called the company. These companies are very happy to send you coupons for their products. It does take a little time on the phone to wait for an operator to come on. However, I spent probably one hour on the phone and got over $60.00 worth of coupons just by calling. I made a list of their 1-800 numbers so that I can frequently call them. Some of the companies will tell you that you can call every 3 months but some allow you to call every month. It will vary with each company. I just wanted to share this info.

Would you be interested in sharing the list of numbers of companies that you called and were able to get coupons from? I have emailed several companies in the last couple of months and have been pleased with the outcome. I would love to get coupons more for the items that my family uses more often. Good suggestion, thank you!

that is so wonderful. im so curious as to how those conversations went. im so nervous when it comes to things like that. how do you even approach asking for coupons. any info would help. thank you so much for posting.

All of these numbers are on the back of the products. Companies will have several different products sometimes that you can get a coupon for not just the product that you found the number on. Such as Conagra, I called about Blue bonnet because that is the butter that we use. They asked me what coupons I was interested in and I just said what products do you have available besides Blue Bonnet. They were also able to send me a Heinz ketchup $.50 nd Orville Redenbacher $.50 coupon for popcorn along with the butter $.50 coupon. Bushes is always good about sending several coupons for their product not just one. Quaker Oatmeal asked what product I used and I said oatmeal. They were only willing to send 1 coupon and it was $1.00 off. Osteo Bi-Flex sent $5.00 for the first time calling but they told me if I call again I could only get like $2.00 coupons. Eucerin lotion company sent me $3.00 total on products. Dial will have several products such as deoderant, soap, etc... They are usually very pleased to send you coupons. I just say send me a coupon for whatever product you have at your company. Dial sent me coupons for Tone soap, Renuzit, Dry purex Detergent, soft scrub etc. Lysol was also able to send coupons for a variety of products. You will have to wait for an operator to come on with the company and just tell them you are calling to get coupons for their products. I started doing this because I wanted to get some coupons for the products that we use and not just wait for them to come out in the papers. I tried to use the computer to get these coupons from the companies and it was much faster and less complicated to just call and wait on the phone for an operator. Hope it works well for you.

I also made a list of every product I had in my house that had a website. Instead of calling I emailed and joined every mailing list. I will let everyone know how it turns out, as I am new to this.
It was time consuming, but I am hoping it will pay off with coupons and freebies.

Do not be worried about calling these companies. They were all very pleasant and willing to send me the coupons. No problems whatsoever!!

I started this last summer, then my computer quit on me. I had only emailed OFF! and told them how much I loved their Skintastic formulas. Within a week I had a coupon for a free OFF! item up to $5.99. I gotta get busy again!

I've started emailing a lot of those companies on that list and so far have recieved about 7 replies that say they are sending me coupons in the mail. YAY!!!!!

I too am new to the site but I am VERY eager to learn all the tricks of the trade to couponing/rebates. I have found a few coupons to print but I would much rather prefer direct coupons from the company. I hope at some point I am able to provide this group with some tips . Thank you all for help !
