I know that store coupon policies vary from place to place, but in general....

I know that you can only use 1 coupon per item being purchased (unless your store has store coupons and let you "stack" SQ & MQ's, or you're using something like Shortcuts and a paper Q). And if it's a BOGO, you can use 2 coupons - 1 for each item.

If it's a BOGO Q, can I use the BOGO Q and another Q? Can I use (2) BOGO Q's - 1 for each item?

If I have a $1/3Q, I have to buy 3 items.
Can I use the (1) $1/3Q, and then (2) $.25/1Q? That would be 1 coupon per item.

Thanks! I'm still learning my way around couponing, and y'all are such a great help!

Oh - one more :P
In the SS and RP I noticed a couple coupons had store logos on them, but say "Manufacturer's Coupon" - can I use this coupon anywhere, or only at the store that matches the logo? I saw some with the Rite Aid logo and some with the Target logo.

You can you a $ off on the one "you are buying" and then the BOGO for the other item. So if you have a $3 off coupon and the product you are bogo free is $4, you would pay $1 for both items doing this method.

Yes, No (unless you are buying two),No...LOL

Ok, first if you are using a BOGO coupon, then I would say that was for one item and a $$ coupon could also be used for the other. Just as you can use two coupons when the store is having the BOGO sale. Of course, just like you stated in your post, it will vary from store to store, as to what they will allow. However the next part of your question, I take it, is if you can use two BOGO coupons and get the "two" items free? I can't say for sure, but my guess is that you wouldn't be allowed to do that. When they scanned the first one, it would use the "two" items and then when the next coupon was scanned it would likely beep, saying that you had not purchased the items, since you only had two and not four!

As far as the 3 item one, the first coupon covers the items, therefore unless you are actually buying 5, then I say the last two coupons won't scan and allow it. BEEP...BEEP!! LOL
Just remember it this way.........you can only do what the coupon states....if you have to buy 3 of the items to get XX off, then those three items were "under" the use of that ONE coupon!! IMHO, it's the same with the BOGO coupon, if the coupon states Buy ONE, Get ONE, then using additional coupons on those "two" items would not be allowed, unless (vary bys store)it was "one" additonal $$ off coupon for the second item. Now if the store has a sale that is BOGO, then some stores do allow you could use two coupons for say $1 off on each of those and some stores will still allow you to use a BOGO coupon that makes the items free. Though, again some stores are no longer allowing that, since the second item was FREE, they will only allow you to use "one" $$ off coupon.

Goodness, I think I have confused myself!! LOL Maybe somebody will come along behind me and explain it better, then we'll both know! LOL

General rule of thumb to sum up Blessed Daddy's response:

One coupon per item or one coupon per quantities listed.
If the coupon lists quantities, like $1 off three or $.50 off two, then that coupon covers that many items. You may not add in other coupons without buying more items.

The only exception to this is the stacking you mentioned that some stores allow using their own coupons.
