Congratulations! You're a big girl now! LOL
The binder method is time consuming but so much easier to shop with and pick up those unadvertised deals. I just adopted Karen's method of two separate binders....I'm loving it!

I also use my kids for slave labor. They clip coupons for me (only the ones who are careful not to clip off the exp dates or bar codes), the older ones sort into categories and then put together duplicates and file in a recipe box organizer by category. Then when I have time I just go through and file into the binder. Works great and saves me tons of time.

Thank you
Thank you
Thank you

LOL

I get so many stares with my binder when I go shopping though! The only thing I don't like is that those pockets are so small and I have to fold my coupons so it's sometimes hard to see them without pulling them out and risking tearing the pockets at the seams. :|

Try using some regular photo sheets to put your larger coupons in. You can find them at Walmart in the same place they keep the baseball card sleeves. I think they're also 1.44 for 10 or maybe a little more but still cheap.

I had a binder and ditched it for a plastic shoebox and envelopes. I think I'm going to go back to a binder.

My previous binder had 4x6 photo pages (3 to a page). I put 4x6 index cards in them to give them a front and back.

For this binder, I'm going to do a combo of photo pages and baseball card pages.

Amanda after I cut my coupons I put them into two piles (food and non-food) Then i open the binder and put them in front of the baseball card sheets behind the correct divider and I try and get a couple sections done a day but usually they do not fly in the stores since static electricity keeps them in place.

Oooooh, no offense, but I think that would drive me CRAZY!! Think I'll stick with the slave labor. My kids beg to do it and it gets the job done. I don't plan much else for Sunday so it just takes a couple of hours and it's all done.

That's how i have mine, baseball card pages, photo pages even a couple of business card pages for the narrow coupons..i'm thinking about dividing all of them into two binders though...it just gets too full, maybe i should go with the food and non food binders. that would help
