Anyone know how to get rust from a shaving cream can out of my shower?

I ususally just spray some CLR (yellow or green spray bottle) on the stain and let it sit for an hour or so then I rinse it off and sprinkle some Comet on it and let it sit for another hour or so then scrub like heck! Always works for me.

You could try vinegar too.

Never tried it but sure a practical idea since we always have vinegar on hand. I usually use vinigar for out sinks (pour down the drain with equal parts of baking soda).

I have an acrylic tub and cannot use comet or hard abrasives on it. I use baking soda and a damp sponge for the easiest part and CLR on the spots that remain. To help prevent the rust rings from shaving cans put the can in a beer cozy. I got a freebie one from a sports event and the shaving cream can fits into it perfectly. No more rust on the tub.
