Oh my! Did you check out the "Yakity Yak forum"? There is a topic under there from the consumer queen.

I've seen stories on TV about hotels and hygeine....more like horror stories. I also know someone who used to work at several big hotels like Embassy Suites, Marriot etc and said that they rarely ever wash the sheets of comforters! YUK Anytime we travel now, we always take our own sheets and comforters and when we leave we find a laundry mat to wash them before we go home. Just think, how many people laid down on those beds before us and did god knows what and how often they showered. Eeewwww!!!!!!!

Remember YOU are paying for the motel....you can request that they change them when you get there also. IF the motel is not super busy most will do that for you! The people I know that own motels wash them all the time. If you rent a room for 4 days you get new sheets everyday but after you leave they will wash the comforter. They also wash the shower curtain. Think how filthy that is!!
