Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, Oklahoma City
Each year on this day of remembrance, thanks to the generosity of Cox Communications, visitors to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum are admitted free of charge. The Memorial Museum opens at 10 a.m. following the Remembrance Ceremony, and will remain open until 6 p.m., with last entry at 5 p.m.

I think I saw them repairing something at the one on NW 16th and Meridian. I didn't know it needed repairing since it was new last year! They took out the swimming pool and put one of those spray things there. IT feel so great when your'e sitting on the benches and the wind blows the mist towards you! Aaaahhhhhhhh

NOTE ABOUT THE SALT PLAINS... I REMEMBER SEEING SOMETHING ON THE NEWS LAST SUMMER ABOUT IT BEING CLOSED DUE TO SOMEONE DIGGING UP A RADIOACTIVE CANISTER. THEY WERE APPARENTLY NOT AWARE OF HOW MANY HAD BEEN DISPOSED OF OUT THERE. I LOVE THE SALT PLAINS AND I HOPE THEY WILL REOPEN THEM. I WENT AS A CHILD AND A LITTLE OVER A YEAR AGO I TOOK MY HUBBY. WE WERE DOWN IN THE DIRT JUST LIKE TO KIDS. ITS WAS A GREAT TIME I STILL HAVE MY "CRYSTALS". JUST CHECK BEFORE YOU PLAN THE TRIP.

Free movies at Penn Square mall this summer!!!!!!!

Dickinson Theatre in Yukon has free movies for 8 weeks in the summer starting on June 10-12 and then every week after that at 10:00 and 12:30 on every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

In Norman, Ok there is always the Dollor movie theater Robinson Crossing. Their movies are never more then $1.75. They have a $.50 cent day and they also have a good deal on their snacks. They dont show the newest movies, they are about a month or so behind on movies. I think thats how they can show them for such a good deal.

Another good place to go if you are in the metro area of Oklahoma, you could check out the drive in on western. You pay one small price, im not sure on the exact price, i know its less then $10 dollars a person, but you get to see 3 movies for that price. It's fun to pack an ice chest, take a couple blankets and pillows and just lounge out and watch some good movies.

In Norman, Ok i know there is a tiny little water playground by the library. Its free and just a good place to go to cool off and relax while watching your little ones (maybe even splash around yourself).
