Video Gaming Expo at OCCC
Join the Computer Aided Technology department at Oklahoma City Community College on Saturday, Nov. 14 as they host National Game Day.
Beginning at 10 a.m. in room 407 in the Keith Leftwich Memorial Library on the OCCC campus, the day will begin with guest speakers discussing the gaming industry as well as educational opportunities in the field of game design.
Two separate game tournaments will also be hosted throughout the day to help raise money for the Child’s Play charity. This charity works to purchase video games for children in hospitals.
Game Day Tournaments:
• Unreal Tournament 3 - restricted to ages 17 and older; a $5.00 entry fee is required.
• The Smash Bros. Brawl Tournament - limited to ages 16 and younger; there is a $1.00 entry fee. At 3 p.m. the SBS top players of the day will compete online with kids celebrating Game Day from across the country.
General admission is free, and the event is open to the public. All ages are welcome; children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Fees may apply to tournaments, please see the web site for more details at
