Who in OKC Metro has a garden

OK, I started thinking that those of us who have gardens may end up with a bunch of one thing or another. If we have extras I was thinking that we might try trading our extra veggies with each other to get some variety. Anyone else interested? If so what are you growing?

I am growing:

Radishes
Carrots
corn
tomatoes
cherry tomatoes
peas
jalapenos
bell peppers
cucumbers
sunflowers
zuchinni
I have watermelon seeds but I have not planted them yet.

I know my radishes and zucchini are going like gangbusters in the starter things (must get them in the ground soon) and the corn is already growing very well. Others are starting to really bloom.

I have started everything from organic seeds in organic potting soil.

I do not have a green thumb at all. So I don't have a garden. I have always wanted one. Hubby is trying some tomatoes though.

I have a black thumb but I decided with seeds that have a guarantee on the package (and yes I saved the packages) and food stamps to pay for the seeds it was worth the effort. I did buy the potting soil though and I have to dig up the garden. Hopefully by this weekend they are all in the ground.

We are growing (rather my son-in-law is) 3 varieties of tomatoes and some bell peppers. We do however have a strawberry patch and grapevine that we inherited from the previous owner.....lots of strawberries are sprouting and I can't wait for them to ripen!

Also, planning on planting cantalope too!

We shall see how it turns out!
