Ok Guys we will be taking on 2 Charities this year! Our #1 Main Charity will be:

Oklahoma Baptist Girls Home(Orphanage ?):
http://www.obhc.org/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=1270

They usually have around 32 girls ages 9 up to college age. There are also house parents and there children.

We will be looking for:
Clothing
Toys
Food etc.
They will be emailing us a wish list from the girls soon.

Our 2nd one I would like to do is Pets for People Again:
I figure we can all use the petco coupon and get free science diet dog food for them this week.
They also need old blankets and news papers
Food
toys
treats etc.
Start signing up for as many dog and cat food freebies as we can!
I believe we can also get free cat littler at homeland if there are any tidy cat coupons out there.
If you are out of state and want to sign up for free pet coupons etc and maile them to save on postage let us know

We can post Pet free bies here for every one to sign up for:
Science Diet $5 coupon:

My mother-in-law lives in Madill...I'll have to ask her what she knows about the Baptist Home for Girls. I'm very familiar with Pets-n-People. I did volunteer work with them for several years.

OK...where is the drop off point? Last year there was a Christmas party and we brought pet food to that. I will try to get the dog food this week at PetSmart but I cannot store a bunch at my house (hubby will complain of clutter...esp since we do not have animals) I can store some at my work in the spare office.

I went thru the baby's clothes and I have 2 Wal-Mart bags stuffed of very gently worn newborn to 3/6 month clothes. Some look boyish but most are unisex (blue but can be worn by either). I also have a tummy time toy that is an airplane that you put the baby on it and they can turn around in circles on it. Jesse did not like it and we used it 2x and I still have the box. Hubby and I are debating on sending presents to his family this year so I am going thru what I have versus what we need to be able to send him presents so the things I have (all the essence of beauty body washes) and stuff I got may go there. I also have the Lipstick Jungle make up bags and sleep masks etc (if we do not send them to his family....I am voting no to his family).

On a side note I went to NBC 1/2 of 1/2 over the weekend and I noticed that theyt had a bunch of tops for kids/adults priced $0.99 and all the grey tags were 1/2 off. I also bough the baby a Children's place winter jacket with removable lining for $12. This would be an inexpensive place to get clothing for the girls too!

When are you taking the items to the charities? I have some items I would like donate. I meant to ask earlier but I severly sprained my ankle (thought it was broken) and have tno even thought about it. I want to make sure that I have time to bring the items to OKC. Is everyone going together to drop off items? Is there going to be a gathering of the couponers? Also, I was wondering if the charity places will have some form that we can list our donations to count on taxes? If not that is ok, but my mom wanted to know.
