I went to a store here called Schultes. They had Ragu spaghetti sauce on sale for $.99. I bought 13 bottles. I had $.25 coupons for all of them plus the store doubled them. So I bought all of them for only $.49 each. I thought that was such a good deal. :D

I don't know Sherry, I think 15 would have been a good starting point :lol: Then again I consider 13 to be a LUCKY number :lol:

Just depends...do you have any more Ragu coupons? LOL
If ya got more you can always stock up for quick warm winter dinners. I mean spaghetti, ravioli (the frozen or homemade kind), stuffed shells, manacotti are all good with ragu over it and any leftover can be poured over chicken or added into meatloaf for a little different taste instead of tamatoe sauce! Many uses for spaghetti sauce. Hmmm...maybe I should go out and buy some!

I like to make Baked Penne (like Mazzio's)
I cook::
One cup of Penne pasta
One lb of Sausage (Jimmy Dean, Farmland)
Combine the above two in a casserole dish with::
a squirt of Italian salad dressing
about fourth cup of Parm Cheese
a jar/can of spaghetti sauce
Throw it in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes=====UMMMMMM!!!

If I had the room, I would have bought that many too!
Being Italian and cooking Italian quite often, I would have used them .... and it wouldn't taken me a long time to do it.

It would have gone well with the 12 boxes of Prince pasta I bought a couple of weeks ago for .49 cents a box!! LOL

I bought 12 jars Sat. at Target with the 75¢ Target coupon and the 65¢ mfg coupons I have - it was on sale for $1 and I got a little overage. Planning to go back even though the sale is over and get more for free with my Q's. I have enough coupons to get another 10-15 jars free.

Regular price is only $1.34 and with the 75¢ Target coupon and the 65¢ mfg coupon, it is still free. No overage, but not going to complain. I will use some to make and freeze sauce and lasagne for my SIL after she has her baby next month.
