One of my dear friends recently got a new foster child. He is 10 years old but has the emotional capabilities of a 3 year old. He has normal intelligence but like I said he is extremely emotionally immature. The agency would not tell them much about his past but being long time foster parents they suspect an abusive past. Please pray that the transition will be smooth for everyone. The little boy started his new school today. This is the third school he has been in this year (and the 4th family he has been with as well) I can't even imagine what this little boy must have gone through and still be going through. At least now he has a loving Christian environment.

Thank you for the prayers...His first day of school was rocky to say the least. He didn't want to go in the first place. He has severe separation anxiety (for obvious reasons) and his teacher is not the most compassionate person in the world. But luckily I am just next door and he seems to like me pretty well so I am able to check on him throughout the day. hopefully he will adjust soon. He has been sleeping better. The first few nights he was with my friend he would wake up nearly every hour and check if his foster parents were still there...aparently he has been abandoned before...It is just so sad and tragic what this little boy has endured. Please keep praying for him and his foster family

That breaks my heart. Poor guy. I just don't understand why adults can't take responsibility. I'm praying for peaceful nights for this little boy, and for his teacher's heart to open up. May the best day this child has ever had to this point in his life be the worst day of the rest of his life! God bless you for your involvement with him.
