Hello,

Well, I know that in comparrison to the posts in here, this is nothing but my husband has applied for a job with the OKC fire department and has to take the written test April 2nd. We have really been tight on money and making ends meet lately seems impossible. I thought maybe a few prayers would help... We REALLY need this job!

NO post is ever too small and I'm sure I can speak for most when I say we wish you and family all the luck. Good for him and I'm sure if he got this far, he'll go all the way! Don't worry too much over it. I'm sure things will work out.........after all........ I'm praying for you. =)

Prayers for a new GREAT job!! No post is too small, and no prayer is too small! NEVER fear of that! This is the best group of "pray-ers" I've ever seen. Wonderful things come out of this prayer board, so bring on the requests! I'm praying for you all!

Thank you very much!!!! I will let everyone know if he gets it. He has to take the written test 4/2 and if his score is in the top 150, he proceeds to the physical aptitude test. I didn't know that many people applied but he is the 273rd person to apply and that was Monday!!!

I am on PINS AND NEEDLES!!! He took the test Wednesday and there were close to 1000 people there! We need this job so bad. Our financial situation just keeps getting worse. Sometimes I feel like our strength and patience is being tested .... (Hope I pass :| ) They post the scores tonight at 5. I'll update after we know.

WOOHOO!!!!! He made it past the written test! Thank you to everyone for praying for us..... I hate to push it but he has to go take the physical aptitude test Monday so if anyone would like to pray we could sure use it!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!

OK, so I found out last week that I am pregnant again!! :lol: We need this job more than ever now... He takes the CPAT on June 3rd. We could use all the prayers we can get.
