My grandmother (father's Mother) passed away this morning at 98 years of age. She had glaucoma, heart problems, diabetes, lost her husband at 72 years old, overweight, and had Alzheimer's. She is happier now that she is no longer in pain and confused.
My Uncle Don (mother's brother) was diagnosed with stomach cancer on Sunday. It is reported that he was given 2-5 years, but my mothers doctor (for her skin cancer) advised my mom that normally with stomach cancer the time given is months not years so we may have been given misinformation on his expectancy. My mom is requesting the medical records for her doctor to review and to see if there is anyways the rest of us can be tested.
Please keep my family in your prayers as this has not been a good week for us.
