My Husbands Cousin Raymond has been mediflighted to OU Medical Center from Wynnewood. My husband talked to him last night and he was fine. He had been hurting a little for a while due to his back but apparantly he had a brain hemmorage this morning. He was being put in the mediflight copter at 10:30 this M and last we heard around 1pm was he was in ICU at OU and was stable. The highways are bad and his family is driving up and I am too scared to drive on ice and we cannot risk my panic making us wreck so we are helpless here. When his kids get into town they are coming here to pick up hubby. Pleaqse keep him in your prayes.

OK, I took hubby there on Saturday and Sunday. I have been using allt he food I cooked to make sure everyone is eating. They had talked about removing the respirator yesterday but they could not since he now has a lung infection.
Hubby is up there now with his wife since his kids had to go to work.

ok update time.

they took him off the respirator and put him in a regular room for 12/30 and 12/31. On the evening of 12/31 his lung collapsed and the other lung was 3/4 full of phlegm. he is back in ICU and on respirator. they wanted to remove it today but the lung scan showed that was not a good idea.

So sorry to hear that, hoping and praying that he'll soon do much better. Hang in there!

He is now off the respirator (yesterday) and they had him sitting up from time to time. Still in the ICU but he is saying he wants to get up, take a shower and go eat a sandwich. Before when he was in his regular room he wanted to get up and go to the bathroom in privacy now he wants to leave. We are hoping he gets put back in a regular room soon. I dropped my hubby of there this morning since his cousin is talking and there is no one there for him to talk to. I will get him later.
