My aunt went for her post-op appointment on 11-4. The removed 16 lymphnodes and of those 4 were positive for cancer. They said it was in stage 3 in her breast and they would know more after she has her scans (cat and bone) on 11-20. She has a chemo port installed on 11-23 and her first treatment will be on the 25th. She will have 4 treatments every 21 days and an antibiotic shot. Then they will switch the chemo and then she will have 4 more treatment of a different type of chemo every 21 days and the same shot. Then she moves on to radiation for 36 treatments of those. We live about 100 + miles from the hospital where she will have her treatments. She stands in need of prayer now more than ever. She is a christian and she know where she will spend eternity but she has a hard fight ahead of her. Remember our family as we try to be there for her she has always been very independent and I am afraid it will be hard for her to accept our help..

I'll be praying for your aunt and your family, Cancer sucks. What kind of radiation will she get? My grandson will start Proton radiation soon, looks very promising.
