I would appreciate some thoughts sent into the universe for me. Whatever God/Gods or Goddesses you believe in. I am in a financial bind. I am a single mother living with my parents, and it's not the greatest environment due to other siblings that live here as well. I have made a deposit on an apartment in a town a couple hours away, where I know people, and have lived before. I am going to try to go back to school. Anyway, I've made the deposit, and have no idea how I will get the rest of the money for rent, moving, etc. I've been looking for a job, but no luck yet. And I've got a car I can't afford to tag and get some small repairs on. If someone could just keep me in their thoughts, that something just right will come along, I would be very thankful.

I haven't tried any charities, I applied for state assistance today, and will get cash assistance if I search for a job 20hrs/wk. Or until I get a job. I had received a call from a girl I know that works at sonic, her boss wanted to know if I could work some certain hours and I said I could, but when I called the manager the next day he said he had some "figuring" to do, and that they'd call me. So I may have a job there....but I'm moving in July! So it would be pretty temporary, therefore, with the knowledge that I'm moving the state assistance may not be approved, and I fear my dreams of moving and restarting school may be squashed. Assuming I don't get the Sonic job.
Another thing I had talked about with my case worker was the possibility of getting my car going, which SRS can do, but I have to have it insured and tagged first. and I don't have the money for it unless I get approved for the assistance. Even then, the costs for the car may be more than I'm approved for! Hah! What's a young single mother to do?!?! I'm just trying to stay positive.
