One of my younger sisters was dating a shady character for a while and they've recently broken up (sort of). He's always been very controlling of her and he even has a prison record. Some people change after prison but I don't feel that he has. She hasn't been herself for several months. Well yesterday afternoon our other sister caught her in the kitchen at our parents' house, with a knife to her throat. She had a baby boy in October and made the statement that he'd be better off without her. PLEASE please please pray for peace for her, and my family, and that she can make a clean break from her ex. I never thought this would happen to anyone in our family!

Thanks! Well she has somehow reached the ex and he's picking her up this afternoon - about 3:00 to be exact, so if she isn't with him yet, she probably will be soon. The doctor said nothing is wrong with her and since she's an adult and she admitted herself to the hospital, she can leave if she wants. I can't believe they said nothing is wrong with her. People don't just threaten to slit their own throats when nothing's wrong! This is hard enough for me, I'm 3 hours away and can do nothing but pray. But our mom is having a very difficult time, she's taking it the hardest. She's had my sister's baby during this time and she said this morning that if/when my sister comes to get him, it will be hard for her to just give him back. I have a feeling things could get pretty hairy today. Pray, please pray!

I completely misunderstood I thought the guy had a knife to her throat not her having a knife to her own throat.
