Let me tell you, it never stops. I have had a small hole on my back molar on the bottom and was eating popcorn tues nite and it broke a chunk out from the inside. No major pain, but it feels funky and jagged when my toungue goes by. And we all know how we can keep rubbing it lol. Eventually it will need pulled, but don't want to think about that yet. I had braces when younger and had sev baby teeth pulled and Im very afraid of the needle for novacaine. funny too because I have had numerous shots in my spine but that scares me.
The second thing is my dh's workplace laid sev people off last fri he was spared but now they are going to start cutting hrs and in Dec alone for the 2 weeks of the holiday they will only be working 2 days per week. I knew eventually it would hit as it has millions of others. Please pray he doesn't completely lose his job. 1 thing is good this time at least I get my ssd money so we wouldn't be as bad as the last time, but with this economy theres no one hiring at all.
thanx guys,
Kathie

Hey Kathie, it's nice to see you on, though I am truly sorry for how things are going for you right now. It is amazing how our little tongues (or in my case, my big fat tongue.........no wait that's my mouth...LOL) anyway, it is amazing how when something happens in our mouths our tongues refuse to stay away from it. I am thankful that it isn't causing you any pain. Make the dentist give you gas before he gives you the novacaine. I had one Dentist a few years ago, that I wouldn't even let look at my teeth without him giving me the "gas"....LOL The ladies that worked for him, use to say we love it when you come in......when I inquired as to why, they would say, well, you are funny and then when you are on the gas, you are a blast!!! The Dentist we use over here now isn't fond of the gas...that cheapscape!! (LOL) If it gets too bad and you decide to go in, just take a deep breath, close your eyes and we'll pray you have a gentle dentist that can give you the shot before you even know it!!

I am also sorry to hear about your husband's work situation. I will be praying for him and for all those that have lost hours or jobs, nobody feels it harder in times like these than the true working men and women of our great country. May God Bless us again and may we as a Nation give HIM the honor and glory in all that we do and have, even in these hard times!!

I read in one of your other post where you still have your brother with you. I am glad that you are able to give him a place to live and that him being there has given you "some" relief in other areas. Hang in there.........and know that it's all in God's hands!!!

Thanx Chris. Yeah my db helps me alot here. With the weather here getting colder my pain flares up and he walks the dog for me. Since I fell a yr and a half ago [and broke my big toe] I get scared going down my steps. I'll put him to work shoveling snow soon something I can't do.
I'd love to live somewhere warmer, but the dh and I still have our parents here and couldn't leave now as they depend on us as much as we do them.
Oh well, I'm headed to bed. Ttyl
Kathie

well, so far they have only cut hrs. Instead of 8 hr days they went down to 7. There was 3 guys in his dept and they laid 1 off a couple weeks ago. Hopefully after the new year things can pick up.
He was laid off 2 years ago for 4 months and $780 was all we lived on, at least now I have my social security so thats better.

Hey Kathie, glad to hear that things aren't as bad for you this year as they were last year. I know even cutting an hour each day makes a difference in the paycheck he brings home and therefore can make a huge difference in spending, so we will continue to lift your family up in prayer. Hang in there.

DaisyDowdell, DH=Darling Husband......DB=Darling Brother, etc. Of course that is what they say it is out in cyber space........but being a man, I "also" think that in some circles that some women use it as "dumb" husband. Of course that is just my personal take after having read some post on other sites, where the post leave you to question it's use. In other words on those sites, I'm not certain that they think thier husbands are "darling", from what they are saying about their dh. Kathie's use of dh, db, dd (daughter), ds (son) etc. and as well as most others here at CQ, I am comfortable saying use it in the sweet way...aka Darling!! But as a "man" I do think that some women out there use it as a secret code for the later and us men just think....OH, isn't that sweet, they think we are "darling", all while they are giggling behind our backs!! LOL and HTH (hope that helps!)

Again hang in there Kathie and know that we continue to pray for you and yours!!
