As most of you know my daughter is due any day now, her doctor told her today that she isn't dilated yet and the baby hasn't dropped either, she has another appointment on friday and if there is no progress he'll schedule a c-section for the beginning of next week.
Please keep her in your prayers that there will be some progress because she is really terrified of having a c-section.
Thanks

Britta, I will be praying for your daughter, your grandchild and for YOU too!! Life is so precious and when we are blessed with bundles of joy from Heaven above, there truly is no better gift or responsiblity. I will be praying that it goes as she wishes!! You can tell her that my bride wouldn't have had it any other way.....she almost demanded a C-section when my second daughter was born!! (she had a c-section with our first) Of course, for my darling bride, it was the waiting she had a problem with, so knowing when and where was what worked for her!! She didn't stay in the hospital afterwards either. They called down from the nursery, on her second day, wanting to know if she wanted our precious daughter brought down to her room, because she hadn't called for her and it was after 8a.m. Well, she had talked to the Dr. and was going home with her............they were a little stunned when she said yes, that was all she was waiting for, was for them to bring her down so we could come home!! LOL They were a little taken back and said "what"!!! LOL It took them a little time to get everything in order for us to leave, but they did. I can understand your daughter's reservation and preferences and will be praying that God will resolve the issues, but remind her no matter what way the baby comes, that it will all be worth it............if she doesn't mind not sleeping, being on the go 24/7, etc., etc.....better yet (LOL), just let her know that we are all praying for her, the baby and for YOU!! and CONGRATS a little early!!!

with the baby not dropping the doc says there is usually a reason for it, cord wrapped around the neck etc, he doesn't want to take any risks.
he told her today she could wait a week and see how it progresses but in his experience she'll end up with a c-section as high up as the baby is, or he can schedule her to go in.
She chose to have a c-section monday morning, so i'll be at the hospital pretty well most of the time for the beginning of next week. I trust his opinion, he's been in his field for 30 years or so, so i guess i'll be a grandma monday = ) and my daughter is a lot calmer now that he explained to her why he won't induce etc

Britta my youngest had both of her babies c-section. Oh my god what a blessing!!!!! She didn't have to go thru any labor pains or contractions and it was a breeze. I went in with both of them and everything went wonderful. 5 years later now and both of them in school can't believe they were babies once. Good luck and get ready to rock that baby. ( you have seen both of my grandbabies they were the ones that came to your house to look at the windows.)

yes i remember, i still want those windows done, hopefully soon, and i am still planning on using your son in law to do it, it's just been chaos around here, well you can tell why, i'm also in the middle of switching jobs, i was supposed to start on monday but they were nice enough to push back my first day till nov 10th so i can take care of my daughter, so i'll be off all next week..= )
Thank you all for thinking and praying for her, i know she will be in good hands

I know you are at the hospital this morning with your daughter waiting on the arrival of your new grandson. So, later when you find this, I just wanted you to know that I was praying this morning that all went well and that both he and his mom are doing well.........and that you are able to enjoy such a precious time, with your new grandson!!!!!!!
