Please try NOT to let kids read this! I have 2 prayer request, I'm not going into a lot of detail because if I did this post would be about 1,000+ words so here it goes:
1.) my great aunt has been given 1 week to live, please pray that she will pass peacefully (there is no hope for her but she is 80 something) she has cancer and cemo/radiation will not help.
2.) OK I got woke up this morning by my mom, she called to tell me that my 14 year old cousin had tried to hang himself, his father found and revived him (this was last night) and at the hospital about 1am this morning he stopped breathing so they put him on life support. About 12 noon today my mom called and said they were going to run tests on Jimmy to see if he had any brain activivty and if he didnt then they were going to turn off the life support. Well she called me a little after 1pm and said they didnt have time to do the tests before he passed away. His father,my 1st cousin Terry, is in the military(just got back a couple months ago from his 2-3 tour in Iraq) and just went through a divorce from his 2nd wife, Jimmy's mother was not in his life as far as I know, in which Jimmy and the step mother didnt get along, BUT Terry (the father, my 1st cousin) had custody of ALL his children! Jimmy (the 2nd cousin who killed himself) was the oldest of the kids....Please pray for the other children and for Terry they are totally devasted and have NO IDEA why Jimmy did this. He left no note or anything. So before you put your little ones to bed, or on the bus, or drop them off where ever give them one one extra kiss and hug and remind them just how much you love them because you just never know!

I am sorry to hear about your cousin(s). I have three teenagers myself and cannot imagine going through something like this. It is so hard for kids these days. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
