Depends, you may want to only buy one $21 then $9 shipping. But if you plan on doing diet HCG 2 cycles, you can save on shipping by buying 2 bottles. But then if you dont like the diet, etc.. then you will be stuck with the extra. Good luck.

Oh, I was told to take potassium suppliment and B12 by a friend that is a nurse.

I just got 1. I got one from someone on here. I figured I can go from there. If I can stick with it and be sucessful the next time I get bottles I may order 2+ since I know I will need to go through this multiple times.

Also as soon as I get the cookbook I plan to try and share some recipes with others doing this diet to help allieviate the problem about what to eat on a limited diet without being bored and not desiring what we can eat on it.

Update on my diet. It has been 15 days since my last drops. Today I weighted in at the weight I finished the drops at, total lost over 25 pounds! (in my 26 day cycle)

I even went on vacation and managed to keep weight off. Yesterday, in order to try to drop a few pounds, I ate tuna with egg for lunch, and a steak for dinner. Then this morning was down 3 pounds from yesterday!

I started my drops the day after Christmas, Dec. 26. So I've been on the 500 calorie diet for 11 days now and I've lost 10 pounds so far. I started out at 155 and now I'm 145. I plan on taking the drops for 30 days as long as I'm still losing weight. My weight loss has started to kind of slow down recently though. I am getting kind of bored with my diet. I'm trying to change things up a little, so hopefully it helps. I've noticed my clothes are already feeling loose. That's always a good thing. I'll keep you updated as I continue to take my drops. =)

I have the cookbook! I will try and get some recipes posted here soon. I am trying to have hubby hurry up and get to work so I can do this diet. However with working and then spendinging the evenings nad weekends in the ICU waiting room I cannot really do it. He will not be supportive and for me to be eating so little in obvious view of him and others will cause problems.

Great news! I was telling hubby how depressed I was about being overweight and that I needed to do something and he agreed and said he was scared he was going to lose me. I finally got him to agree to let me do this diet (late last night). I bought the scale and the food scale the other day, I was planning on doing it without telling him. Now I need to go through the cookbook closely and start prepping some food. Classes start tuesday so I need to have some stuff to grab. I hope I have time tommorrow to get some menus planned and decide what I need to have in the house. He has agreed that if it is a snack I like that it is not allowed in the house during the phase 2 and 3 part of the diet! There are many things that he likes that I cannot stand so I do nto need the added temptation. He has also agreed (now if he can stick to it) to not get mad at me for not snacking with him or eating something he makes me.

I am starting on Saturday. I figured doing my loading days on a weekend was the best thing.

Just wanted to let you all know that I have been having gallbladder problems, and will go to the dr. this week. I googled it on the internet, and found this can happen with rapid weight loss, Pregnacy and etc... I have still kept all the weight off and it has been a month today.

I have no gall bladder so that is one side effect I will nt have to worry about. I had mine taken out back in 1998 after I had my oldest.

I started the HCG diet on Saturday and I was not feeling well. Since I have no gall bladder eating high fat foods makes me feel ill and has unpleasant side effects. I still did the loading and at this moment food does not even sound good so that should get me through a day or two. I am starting the VLCD today. I went through the cookbook over the weekend and I prepared the broth that they suggest that you use to prepare your veggies and shrimp in. IN preparing the broth it requires you prepare 6 servings of chicken. I froze the extra broth nad I brought some of the chicken and some romain lettuce with me to work for lunch. I will have my fruit (an apple) when I go to pick up the kiddos. I am planning on garlic shrimp for dinner (from the cookbook) and strawberries for dessert.

I took all the food out of my office (we are moving) so there is nothing at all for me to snack on here or be tempted by. However there is a 24 pack of Coke and Diet Coke in the cabinet and some in the fridge. I am a severe caffiene addict so this will be hard. I did bring 8 bottles of water with me though.

Karen, lucky you no gallbladder, I went to dr. today will find out more later this week.

the only symptoms i would think you would have would be headaches due to no coke, you know I have broke the coke habit, have no cravings for diet coke at all! I am so happy about that, as I am sure it is not to healthy!

My head is throbbing and I swear I run to the bathroom all the time. Of course before this the only thing I really drank was Coke and now I am only drinking water. I do not like tea or coffee. I am on day 2 of complete caffiene withdrawl. I hope it gets better soon.

Last night when I got home from Boy Scouts I cooked some garlic shrimp and them chopped it up and ate it with a chopped up roma tomatoe. I them sucked on a lemon a little and had my strawberries adn I went to bed around 9:30.

I have been extremely tired today (caffiene withdraws maybe?)

I have an apple in the afternoon when I am picking up my kiddos for a snack instead of having it with lunch. I am trying to space it all out. I have no problem with skipping breakfast since I usually do not eat it during the week anyways. I am unsure how the weekend will pan out. I guess I need to just stay busy and not think about eating. At least I will be moving my office so that should keep me busy. However, if I get iced in the temptation to snack will be very high.

Something that might help you with the withdrawl of pop and the blandness of water is to make your own lemonade with truvia, or I liked the vanilla stevia ok, it has a little after taste. Also I loved to make strawberry shakes with ice water strawberries truvia and a teaspoon of milk. Good luck Karen and I can't wait to hear your results!
