I have asked my baby Jesse to complete this review, however it was not anything that you could read.

He LOVES the Earth's Best 3rd Chunky Blends, he is 11 months and 2 days old. His all time favorite foods from the Earth's Best 3rd Chunky blends line are the Tender Chicken and Stars Dinner and the Sweet Potato Cinnamon My First Soup. When he gets offered these foods he always eats the entire jar. When I offer some other brands of baby food he will not eat the entire jar. He also keeps a box of Earth's Best Wheat Teething Biscuits in my desk at work. When his teeth start hurting him I give him one of those and he just chows down. He prefers the Wheat flavor over the Barley ones.

On a side note, I taste everything before I give it to my children for the first time. The Earth's Best 3rd Chunky Blends are very tasty. I wish I would have tried them before I had my teeth pulled. It would have opened up a whole new world of food I could have eatten.

Honestly I have never tried the Earth's Best Baby Food for my 8mo. old. I understand that it is organic and have been thinking about switching from my regular brand, that only offers organic in the 1st foods. My baby Braden is inbetween the 2nd foods and the third foods, and I would like an organic option. I have a positive opinion about the Earth's Best brand from seeing thier commercials on Sesame St. I don't have a jar right now to review, but the next time I visit the store I will pick up a jar and see how my rolley polley likes it.
Thanks,
Beth

If he is anywhere near the 3rd Chunky Foods I would recommend the Tender Chicken and Stars it is tasty. About a year and a half ago I had a TON of teeth pulled and could not eat much. If I would have known that this was as tasty as it is I would have eaten it.

I sent you a pm yesterday, but for some reason it is still in my outbox? Anyway I want to split the coupons with Karen, she has been so good to me since I've joined. I am going to try to pm you again and see if it goes through this time. If not maybe you have a suggestion to send my address?

You can e-mail her at Melissa@consumerqueen.com

I appreciate the offer to share the coupons with me, but you do not have to do that. I like helping people. That is what we do here, help other members!

I tried the Earth's Best products with my son when he was in the baby food stage. I really enjoyed their products.

Check the cereals, I seem to remember some difference in their mineral content and that of namebrand versions. Other than that I saw no difference. Coalton never seemed to notice the difference if we changed brands on him. I liked the combinations of fruits and combos of vegis for variety. Also they come in glass jars. I don't know about other parents but food being stored/served in plastic makes me leery, especially since the BPA drama. (don't get me wrong, now that he's a toddler he eats off a plastic suction cup plate and drinks from plastic sippy cups. I don't heat or store his food in plastic containers, that's where my discomfort is.) I also liked the teething biscuits. Coal did too. They were much harder than the zweiback toast (which seems to dissolve almost instantly in slobber - so how can it offer much comfort to a teething baby?) And because they were harder, they lasted longer and were far less messy!!!

My only complaint is that the stores in my area didn't offer a wide variety to choose from. Sometimes their section in the baby isle was a bit... un-organized... distracting in presentation. All sorts of food would be jumbled in together. And prices are a tad higher, however that's what you get with organic.

I will probably use the EB brand on my second child, provided I can keep the cost down or at least comparable to the non-organic counterparts.

Hope this was helpful,
Maryl
