Hi everyone. I am soooo new at couponing! I've been getting my "feet wet" with coupons at Walgreens and at Homeland. I got my first RR at Walgreens the other day and I was so excited. That's silly, right?

I have gotten several dozen coupons together which are now tucked into a photo album with 50 sleeves (for 4"x6" photos) which I purchased for $3.00 at Walgreens. I haven't upgraded yet to a full size zippered binder like the pros. That is one of my goals as I get better, and have saved more money!

I love to watch youtube for inspiration with all the wonderful couponers there. I wish I could do so well.

Anyway, a little about myself: 43, married 16 yrs today!, mom of 12 yr old daughter, wahm, jewelry designer, bargain hunter, optimist; and I love to spend time with my family, going antique shopping, watching mystery/crime shows......and that is all that I can think of for now.

Welcome to the board. I never thought of using a small photo album for coupons....what a great idea! It's small enough to put in your purse or bag but bigger than a regular small coupon file, and the pages are clear so you can see what coupons you have. I'm gonna use that idea in my next coupon class..thanks!!
If you have any questions or need any help just ask.

Thank you for the warm welcome. My hubby thought it was a pretty smart way of organizing my coupons too! 8) For a beginner, it is a good start at organizing.

And I want to thank you all for the inspiration and encouragement to "do the coupon thing", as I have started to get a little stockpile going of freebies like toothpaste, deodorant, and razors; and my pantry is looking fuller and fuller. I have only been at this now for about a month and a half!

I got my second RR from Walgreen's today and I was so excited!

Can someone help a newbie with a question, please? I have a B1G1 free coupon, and there is a sale on the product for 2/$5. Does that mean I get 4 items for the $5?

Thank you!

Yep, if you've got 2 of the B1G1 free coupons then you'll get 4/$5.00

2/$5.00 ($2.50 each) B1G1 Free coupon would get you 2/$2.50, 2 B1G1 free coupons would get you 4/$5.00.
