Has anyone gotten this and got good food? We were very unhappy with it this month. This was our first and possibly last time ordering from them

I get Angel Food nearly every month. The food quality is MUCH better than it use to be. The only downside I can see is that you get a ton of breaded chicken.

Breaded chicken...same here. In fact we're not ordering it this month because we're overrun with breaded chicken. But...at least it's GOOD breaded chicken. We do AngelFood at our church and have a blast! This is also a great ministry. Only have $25.00 to give and want it to be multiplied? Buy a box for someone, or go to one of the churches that takes orders and just give them $25.00 for a donation box. Every four boxes that are ordered provides one box for a needy family. Great deal!

I have done this before, it is a very good deal...
Just make sure you get there to pick your food up
on the correct date and time.
I messed up once and did not get mine.
At least they did give it to someone else in need.

If anyone is in need of food or knows of someone who is, I have about 20 lbs. of popcorn chicken and breaded chicken fritters that they can have. I am in the Yukon area. Send me a private message if you're interested.

Can anyone sign up for this, or are their restrictions? This would be a huge blessing right now.

anyone can do this. Just go to the website and find the angel food ministry closest to you and find out what dates they are taking orders. They also take food stamps!

I have ordered this before and LOVED it! We eat lots of Chicken so that doesn't bother me. :D My only problem is that I FORGET to order in time so I have been missing it the last couple of months! I love the extra boxes you can buy with them.

yes, this is a very good program. they give you a box full of meat, veggies, canned items and usually a dessert. it costs like $25 i believe and the food is usually pretty good. you can add more food on for additional costs. say a couple extra pounds of steak for $10.00...example. there arnt any restrictions on it because I've had to do it personally and I've picked up boxes to donate to my church families. If your in need or know a family in need. Diffinetly check this out!

In January 2008, the basic package is going up $5.00. Just remember if you are new at using Angel Food Ministries, some months are not as great as others, but it is good at filling up the freezer. :)

I love this program, it is a very good deal. I agree the only downside is you do get a lot of chicken.

Yes, in 2008 the boxes are going up to 30$.
