Mark Down Schedule
-Mon. -- Electronics, Kids Clothing and Stationary (Cards, GiftWrap, etc.)
-Tues. -- Domestics, Women's Clothing, Pets and Market (food items)
-Wed. -- Men's Clothing, Toys, Health and Beauty, Lawn & Garden items
-Thur. -- House Wares, Lingerie, Shoes, Sporting Goods, Movies, Music, Books, Decor and Luggage
-Fri. -- Auto, Cosmetics, Hardware, & Jewelry

Is this the markdown schedule for all Target stores or does it depend on the area you're in? Thanks

FYI I work at a target store. They changed how they do markdowns recently. Departments still get marked down on the same days, but the items will vary from store to store based on the inventory on-hands each store has. For example if one store has 10 of something and another has 50, the store that only has 10 is going to wait to mark down that item cause it's selling well there. The store that has 50 will mark it down right away to try to get rid of it faster. It's all in the marketing..

This would explain why when you go to from store to store the prices vary, and no Target does not match prices between stores.

I have tried a few different times to look for mark downs. I will go on Mondays and look at the scrapbook, cards, gift wrap etc. but I still have yet to find anything. Where should I be looking? Like I mentioned I look in specific areas where the mark downs are suppose to take place. Please help!

I am just guessing, but I think July 29 or 30 will be markdown for toys, at 75% OFF. If you live in Oklahoma Metro area, there is a couple that will wipe out the toy sale, apparentlly they resale items at the Flea Market. This is what I saw last year on toy mark down day. I will let you all know when I see toys on mark down!

Baby items were marked down 75% off first Monday in August last year. Great baby stuff was found by my friend. I was out of town so I missed it!

I need a toy clearance like I need a hole in the head but I do have a birthday for my soon to be 10 year old coming up soon! He could use 1 or 2 toys.
