Tra61204--I agree with eaglebop. This manager needs to be reported. Target corp. puts out those coupons to get us into the stores. Yes, sometimes we do only get the coupon items, but there are plenty of times we pick up other items as well. And, if nothing else, going in repeatedly for just the coupon items gets us more familiar with the store, and more likely we'll come back more often. More familiarity breeds more sales for them!! Corp needs to know about the actions of this one manager. Please let them know how she/he made you feel.

Shannon, I've noticed that...there have been many times that the cashier will start scanning coupons and putting them in little piles and then I realize that they did not even scan it, I watch them like a hawk and ask questions and call their attention to it.

A few times that I have been to the Edmond one, they don't even bother to scan the coupons, they just add them up and the subtract them, so it means overage on the cheesesticks! YEA!

I went to Target today to get the 9 cent sparkling water and some trial size stuff free. I picked up two trial size packs of NEXCARE bandages, they were 99 cents ea. My coupons were for $1.00 off. They wouldn't take them because "the coupon has to be for less than the item costs." I asked her if they can't take just 99cents off instead of $1 and she said "No. We can't take this." So I had her take them off.

That is SO petty of them. I have had this happen to me before and that's why I don't do the trial sizes all that often. Over a measley .01¢!!!!!!!

I had this problem at SuperTarget in Edmond the other day. Apparently some people were using a whole bunch of coupons and Target was ending up owing them money. I told them I didn't want any money back, I just wanted to be able to use the coupons. Eventually they let me do so. I pointed out that the Crystal Farms cheese did not specify a size. The manager was like, "Well, we MEANT the bigger size." Sigh.

Well, maybe next time they run a deal like this, they will be more specific on their coupons. :P

I carry a copy of Targets coupon policy with me when a coupon is above the item's price they are to lower the coupon amount call corp have them mail u there policy I am having a problem with 1 manager thou every time me or dh is checking out she runs up to where I'm at to see what coupons I'm using if even 1 coup beep's she suspends my order and takes me to custermer service and checks me out herself even the checkers think she's getting out of hand with me 2 off them have said to me that they have been checking me out 4-5 a week for years and have never seen me use a coupon any way other than how its listed on the coupon, I was at a different target and one of the male checkers showed me a trick that checkers use when they don't want to take your coupons they hold the coupon a certin way were part of there finger covers a piece of the bar code so when they scan it the screen turns black and they can tell u thay cant take the coupon he showed me and if you dont know they do it you would never notice that they are doing it so they next time u have a beep make them hold there finger away from the bar code

Target Coupon Policy <--- Take a copy of this with you!
Dear Target Guest,
Thanks for asking again about using coupons at Target.
Coupons are a great way to save even more when shopping at Target, and
we make it easy to use them at our stores. But because of the variety
of coupons available to our guests, we do have some guidelines for how
coupons can be redeemed at Target:
-We accept two kinds of coupons: Target-issued coupons and
manufacturer-issued coupons.
-We'll accept one Target coupon and one manufacturer coupon for the
same item, unless either coupon prohibits it.
-We can't give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than
the purchase value of the item; in that case, we'll adjust the value of
the coupon to equal the price of the item.
-We can't accept coupons from other retailers, or coupons for products
not carried in our stores.
-All valid coupons should be presented to the cashier at the time of
sale.
In addition, Target empowers the store to limit the number of items a
guest buys with coupons. We reserve the right to limit purchases to
reasonable family-size quantities.
Have questions or want more information about using coupons at Target?
Check with a Guest Services Team Leader at your local store. You can
also give us a call at (800) 440-0680, or visit us on Target.com. Either
way, we're here to help!
Thanks for shopping with us. We'll see you again soon at Target.
Sincerely,
Larry
