I went to the target in Norman tonight, they would not take any of my coupons except manufactured ones that come from the paper. They said they wont take printed manufactured coupons. Last night they told me only one page of coupons however many you could use on a page. Then tonight they called a manager over for verification. It was 2 guys and they both said that they wouldnt take them because they didnt look like they came directly from target.com and I could have photo shopped them. They made me feel like a criminal!!! So for all you who go to Norman make sure your coupons come directly from target.com.

Target has issues with their coupons!! I got a new cashier Saturday night. I had a $1 coupon for all but 2 items that I bought. She had a lot of trouble getting the coupons to scan, and had to key some in manually. When she gave me the total, I didn't think it was right, but I decided to wait until I could see the receipt. (It had already taken long enough) When I checked the receipt, I found she had missed two coupons. Ok, not a LOT of $, but still $2, that's dinner off McDonald's $Menu, LOL! I took my purchases and receipt to Customer Service. They called a "manager" to help me. He first told me that he couldn't do anything because I didn't have the coupons to compare with the items. I told him I couldn't have the coupons, you don't give them back after they've been scanned/used. He understood that, but then started critiqueing my receipt, and told me that the cashier had already allowed me to use coupons that I shouldn't have. ??!! Some items were 99cents trial sizes, coupons said ANY SIZE, and were for $1.00 off. He told me the coupon has to be less than the price of the item for them to accept it. I told him that No, your store policy says you are to adjust the coupon amount. He told me No, NO it doesn't. So, I whipped out my copy of the policy. (Thank goodness I asked for it to be emailed to me last week) He was totally confused because he said they don't even have that capability. The computer will not allow them to adjust the coupon price. He said "Well, I'm not going to make you give us back any money for the overages on the coupons." I told him, I used 12 $1 coupons, you only took off 10. Even if I paid you back for the 1cent on all 12 of the coupons, you still owe me $1.88. I'm not trying to pull anything on you, I'm just trying to use the coupons the manufacturer issued. After going back to the cashier's drawer and counting the coupons (I guess that's what he did....I was waiting at CS) he came back and handed me two $1 bills.

I went to the target in Norman today and they told me that last night they had someone walk out of the store with over a thousand dollars worth of stuff and pay 9.52 or so. They said all the coupons they used were fraud, that they took old expired coupons and changed the date on them. That's why they have been giving me so much trouble about my coupons. They have the target asset security there watching people use their target coupons!!! I wish people wouldn't do stuff like that they ruin for all of us legitimate coupon users.

Yeah, those of us who are smart enough to get together and figure this out are going to be interrogated and treated as criminals. Saving $30 on a $40 cartload is different from getting $1000 for less than $20! Where were the red flags for that person??!!

no kidding, I used to be a cashier, and I would have called the manager over for THAT much, Gosh those frauders can't even be smart about it (at least divide up the purchases!) I hate it when people ruin it for the rest of us! They need to educate the entire staff about fraudulent coupons, because like checks or stuff of that sort there should be SOMETHING that gives it away, ya know? or better yet, if places like Target want to give out store coupons, maybe they could mail them out, or put them in the ad or something, instead of giving people a hard time about using THEIR internet coupons! maybe we should all email, write or call them suggesting better ways of dealing with the internet coupons issue.

It makes me mad they are so busy verifying my coupons are valid that they are letting the real fraud go!!!! I was thinking they should get emailed, faxed whatever all the coupons that they have out that are not expired so they know which ones to take or not. It would do them some good to fix their system to where it wouldnt take them after they expired anyways.

I was told at the Norman Target this afternoon that we cannot use the coupons printed off the Generator link we have here. They said they were fraudulent. The only Target internet coupons they will take are the ones directly from the Target site. They must be all on the sheet-don't cut them apart- and they have to say TARGET.COM on the bottom.

I have neverhad any problems. I can also use as many coupons as I want. I went today and only bout about 15 things but used 25 coupons. I also went a few days ago and my total would of went negative with one of my coupons so they would not let me use it. No biggie my total was only 67 cents anyway. I can use a coupon that is more then what the item is worth as long as I dont go negative. I dunno why some are having problems. They are just jealous of you getting such good deals

The target I work at has no limit on coupons. That's the craziest thing I ever heard. I don't know where some of you live, but that's nuts. Target doesn't loose any money on the coupons they collect so it shouldn't matter how many you use. The only thing target has been having a problem with is coupon fraud. Some people will do all their shopping, buy the things that have big $$ coupons, like shavers and electronics. Return those items and pocket the cash from the coupons. When you return them they give you full price rather than what you paid for after the coupon. Those people are monitored and eventually cut off, but otherwise no there really isn't a limit. I never heard of anyway...

This was all going on back in 2007. I don't think it's been an issue lately.

one issue that Target has been having and CVS that I know of if there is a few people who will come in and buy stuff with coupons and then turn around and go to another store and return it for full value..
People like this make it hard on all of us!
I was in Target when this lady came in and bought a bunch of shampoo and it was on sale she ended up paying nothing claimed to be tax exempt then The target did not have what I wanted s they were nice enough to track it down to another store for me so I went to that store and low and behold guess who was there returning the shampoo claiming she did not have a receipt. her and the manager were going at it pretty good.....
