Giant Eagle® is committed to making health care more affordable, saving you money, and helping to improve your health and well-being — so we’re introducing a FREE antibiotics program, just in time for the back-to-school season!

Back-to-school is an exciting time, but it also means that children and families spend more time indoors — and are more susceptible to bacteria-related illnesses. That’s where our FREE antibiotics program comes in handy.
How the Giant Eagle® FREE antibiotics program works:

If your physician prescribes an antibiotic as part of your treatment, simply bring your prescription to any participating Giant Eagle Pharmacy® and receive up to a 14-day supply of qualifying, generic antibiotics FREE.
The following antibiotics are included in the program:

* Amoxicillin
* Ampicillin
* Cephalexin
* Ciprofloxacin
* Doxycycline Hyclate
* Erythromycin
* Penicillin
* Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim
* Tetracycline

Complete list of antibiotics: http://www.gianteagle.com/media/content ... s-list.pdf

The FREE antibiotics program has no limit on the number of prescriptions you can fill, and covers new prescriptions and refills.
Saving you money on antibiotics is part of our pledge to make health care more affordable for you, your family, and your community. Our FREE antibiotics program helps us meet those goals. This program builds upon our $4/$10 generic prescription medication program that delivers $64 million in customer savings each year.

Antibiotics are prescribed for many illnesses, including strep throat, pneumonia, severe acne, urinary tract infections, and to prevent infections from certain surgeries and dental procedures. Antibiotics should not be used to treat colds or the flu. Always check with your doctor before taking a prescription antibiotic.
