Just a little clarification on using coupons for BOGO free items for those who are new at couponing: Most stores that feature BOGO free items will ring up the items 1/2 price at the register....for example, say soap is normally $2.00 each but is BOGO free this week. When you get to the check out the cashier will ring them up at $1.00 each instead of ringing up the first one at $2.00 and the second one at $0. This is good because since they ring up both items at 1/2 price you can use 2 coupons (one for each of the items) saving you a lot more.

A lot of stores will let you buy just one BOGO item at 1/2....for example, you can just put one of the $2.00 BOGO free soaps in your basket and just pay $1.00 at the checkout. You can still use a coupon on it and get it free or cheap. I do this when I'm low on cash, only have 1 coupon or just need one of the items on sale.
