Layered Margarita Bites Prep Time: 15 min Total Time: 3 hr 15 min Makes: 9 servings, four pieces each
2 cups boiling water 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Brand Margarita Flavor Gelatin 1/2 cup tequila Grated peel and juice from 1 lime 2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mixes with wire whisk in large bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in tequila and 2 Tbsp. of the lime juice. Add whipped topping and 1 tsp. of the lime peel; stir until whipped topping is completely melted and mixture is well blended. POUR into 8-inch square pan. REFRIGERATE 3 hours or until firm. Cut into 36 pieces to serve. Garnish with additional lime peel and coarse salt, if desired.
