 Post subject: Pecan Pie & Crust

Crust
1 stick soft margarine
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup all purpose flour

Mix well and press firmly into pie pan.
Bake at 350 20 to 25 minutes. Cool before filling.


Pie
1 1/2 cups white karo syrup
1 1/2 cups sugar
5 eggs beaten
1/8 tsp salt
3 tbs butter
1 tsp
vanilla
1 cup pecans
1 pie shell unbaked (if not using recipe above)

Mix all ingredients, pour into pie shell.
Bake at 300 Degrees for about one hour.
