Just use what ever cardstock colors you'd like to make the houses and roofs, using decorative sissors to cut out the roofs.
Use tan, brown or black cardstock for the poles
I used a black scrapbook pen and chalk to outline the birdhouses, roofs and to color in circles for the openings to the houses. I used a white scrapbook pen to highlight the opening on one side.
I used a premade die cut fence which I outlined with a black pen and chalked in dark brown
I tore off a dark green strip of cardstock and used it for the grass
