#1 Fall Leaves is another quick, easy & inexpensive paper piecing to make...
Start with a 12 X 4 inch strip of brown card stock.
Cut a dark green strip of dark green card stock to fit inside the brown strip.
Cut a pattern strip of fall themed patterned paper to fit inside the dark green strip.
Punch out 2 leaves & 1 pumpkin note: punch out leaves & pumpkin first to make sure your squares will be big enough.
Free hand cut or punch 3 squares from off white card stock.
Free hand or punch 3 smaller squares of dark green card stock.
Use a black scrapbook pen to outline the large brown strip and around the inside of the white squares and then chalk lightly over the lines with dark brown chalk.
Shade pumpkin and lightly rub brown chalk on leaves.
I punched out a tiny dark green oak leaf and swirl and added them to the pumpkin stem.

#2 Trick or Treat is just as quick & easy...
Start with a large jack-o-lantern die cut cut that you purchased or punched out (Sizzix has a real cute one).
Cut a 12 in long strip that is 1 1/2 inches wider than your pumpkin from black card stock.
Cut a patterned halloween paper strip just big enough to leave a small amount of the black card stock showing.
Cut a strip of orange card stock to fit inside of patterned paper.
Place MAMBI trick or treat stickers (from the Halloween Kid's sticker sheet) on to off white card stock & cut out as shown in picture.
Put yellow card stock behind jack-o-lantern to make it look "lit up".
Place jack-o-lantern with hat onto off white card stock and cut out as shown in picture.
using a fine tip black scrapbook pen, draw a squiggly line down from the top of the white square and attach small black spider sticker (I used the one from the MAMBI Halloween Kid's sticker sheet)
use black scrapbook pen to outline inside of white card stock as shown and lightly chalk over the lines with black chalk.

This paper piecing is quick, easy and inexpensive. Just use the following materials:

Start with a 12 X 4 inch strip of pink card stock.
Cut a strip of red card stock to fit inside the pink strip.
Cut a patterned strip of valentine/love printed paper to fit inside the red card stock.
Free hand cut or use punches to cut out 3 white squares and 2 red hearts.
Trace around the inside of the squares with a black scrapbook pen (I use a Zig brand pen) and then chalk over the lines lightly with black chalk.
Place hearts on top & bottom squares, then either print out "hugs & kisses" on your computer or use the "hugs & kisses" from the MAMBI sticker "Sweet Talk Sayings" like I did.
