I have a question and would appreciate it if someone could help me out. Can you use 2 coupons on BOGO items, or can you only use 1 per paying item? Say I bought a bag of the Nut Clusters on sale, could I use (2) $1 off coupons, or can I only use 1 since I am only really paying for 1? I have a few save $X/2 coupons, and did not know if I could use them on the BOGO items or if I would have to buy 2 get 2 to use them. Thanks for the help!

You can use 2 coupons. At Homeland, when there is a BOGO sale, the items ring up at 50% off the regular price versus the first one ringing up regular price and the second ringing up free. You can just buy one item and it will ring up 50% off...you do not have to buy 2 to get the BOGO sale. However, if you use two identical coupons, only the first one will double. You can still use the second, but it will not double. In your Nut Cluster example you would have to purchase two nut clusters and could use two coupons. Each should ring up at $1.95. For the $X/2 coupons, you can purchase two items and use one coupon. Hope this helps!

Thank you for answering my question. I am a regular Homeland shopper; however, I do not usually buy BOGO items. Let me make sure that I understand. All BOGO items will ring up half price, whether I buy 1 or 2. If I buy 2, then I am paying regular price, but getting 2 items. For example, if I get 2 Pizza Rolls @ $2.25, they should ring up $1.13 each, then I have .55/2 (which should double) so my final price should be about $1.16 for both bags or .58 each.

Thanks Again! :)

You are correct! Since we've had some questions on BOGO free items I have posted "Using Coupons with BOBO Free Items" Look for it at the top of the Homeland forum..if you have any other questions feel free to post..you're question cleared up some questions others have had I'm sure!
